why not Yishun or Eunos or even Pasir Ris.
which is closest to us.

we've been on National Street Soccer League before.
NSSL that is.
gotten free blue coloured umbro jersey,
with the payment of $50 per team.
lols,
each person in the team have to pay $10.
yet all my friends are broke.
and i forked out $50 from my wallet.
they promised me to pay me back,
until someone suggested,
if we got into the top four,
you take ALL the prize ok khai.
well,
i somehow agree with that.
and selection of tournament venues.
firstly, we took the nearest one.
which is Fengshan.
but its full already~.
and the organiser told me,
theres no other place other than Bukit Batok.
no choice then,
team name?
any guessing anyone?
hahaha,
since my friends all agree that i become the captain of the team,
i decide the team name,
and its Youngster.
oh YOUNGSTER sey seyy.
playing under 14,
oh how YOUNG we are.
my friends knew the leadership that i have,
and how i play of course.
the tournament started on the month of June.
i think its on the 10 of June.
have to be there by 8am.
fortunately,
zul's father was kind enough to send us there by his lorry.
reached there and theres quite alot of teams.
a total of 32 teams that is.
we came with three strong groups.
chey strong eh.
yaa right~,
my team,
hidayat, saiful, hafiz, haris
and me of course.
hadi's with his schoolmates.
same goes to zul.
first round was easy,
the first game was played by my team against a group of small kiddos,
hahs,
winning the first game with 3 goals all by me.
hahaha!
oh theres girls watching us playing.
but they dun get me distracted,
unlike someone in my team.
girls, girls, girls.
oh come on.
well, hadi's, zul' and my team got through the first round.
second round,
we're the first to play again,
conceding 4 goals on the first half of 5 minutes.
we thought we are going to be out of the tournament.
but no way,
i brought the team back up.
scoring 5 goals and assisting 1 goal to haris,
which makes it up to 4-6.
see, big numbers.
oh craps.
hehs,
how lucky are we.
but not for hadi's and zul's.
zul's got knockout in the second and hadi's in the third.
they didnt wait for us and went home.
so much for going back home together sey.
we kept on winning,
and into the semi-finals.
thats when we got tired,
too tired.
until we got thrashed 6-0 and 3-1 to get the fourth place only.
woots!
we got the fourth place.
a trophy and a voucher.
i took the voucher.
and i lost it.
oh dangs,
thats the past lah, in 2004 i think.
yeah 2004.
3 years ago,
yet i can still remember such memories.
well guys,
thanks for the memories.
hahaha!
this time round,
we're gonna win for sure.
and im the captain~ once again,
with the same old team name.
playing for under 17.
oh i cant wait.
